Dr. Brown was raised in Virginia and Florida before moving to Hawaii, where he completed his general surgery residency through the Hawaii Residency Program at the University of Hawaii. Deciding to make a change, he moved to the mainland and has been providing coverage for different hospitals in a 6 state area. Dr. Brown's goal is to help develop the growth of healthy general surgery programs in critical access hospitals throughout the U.S.
