Robin McKay, DNP, APRN, AOCNP has been with Stormont Vail Health since 2000 and has spent the majority of her career in the care of oncology patients.
Education:
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baker University, Master of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Kansas.
Certification:
She holds national certification as an Adult-Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner as well as specialty certification as an Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner.
Biography:
Since 2016 she has worked full-time as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner at the Cotton O'Neil Cancer Center. In this role she provides comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients, leads the Oncology Survivorship Program, and is Advanced Practice Provider Manager for Medical Sub-Specialties.
More/Other Information:
She enjoys getting to know patients and families and developing relationships through their treatment journey. Robin was raised in Axtell, KS and has many family ties in northeast Kansas. She is excited for the opportunity to continue to provide care through the outreach clinic to keep people in their home communities. Robin lives in Topeka, KS where she stays busy when she is not at work with her husband, 4 children, and 2 dogs.
